This promise came alive in our journey. As we sought God first, He faithfully led us to each other—patiently, purposefully, and beautifully.

Allen held tightly to Matthew 6:33, trusting that God would add everything in His perfect time. While in Dubai, God gave him a dream of the aurora borealis. Years later, in Canada, he saw it with his own eyes—a reminder that God never forgets His promises. When Allen began praying for his future wife, he dreamed of standing beside Veronica. He asked God, “Lord, is she the one?” More dreams followed—simple yet full of meaning. The final confirmation came in a dream of them climbing a hill, Veronica teaching others about the Holy Spirit. That same day, Allen read Genesis 2 about woman being created as a helper. In that moment, he knew—God had answered his prayer.

Veronica, raised to wait on her God’s best, often prayed, “Lord, give me a man who loves You more than me.” She stood on Proverbs 4:23, guarding her heart. In October 2022, she returned to Calgary—the same weekend Allen arrived in Canada. Her mom introduced them, even mentioning how she was 24 and single since birth—so awkward!. Still, it was evident God was orchestrating something special. As they got to know each other, Veronica saw how Allen aligned with her prayers—but still sought God’s clarity. At a youth camp, she prayed, “Lord, is Allen a distraction or someone I can walk life with?” She even remembers telling God her worries about him, but God’s response was gentle and clear: “All those things are earthly titles, but Allen’s heart is close to Mine.” This confirmation brought peace, and Veronica gradually opened her heart, trusting that God was lovingly writing their story.

“We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). What we share is more than love—it’s a covenant. A Christ-centred journey, with two hearts fully surrendered, walking forward into all He has prepared.
